What classes do you need to take to be a dental hygenist??

I really want to become one in the near future! ^_^

What classes do you need to take to be a dental hygenist??
Check with your local community/junior college, but specify that you want to talk with a counselor who is experienced with currently enrolled or transferring students for dental hygiene program.

If they do not offer the program, they will be able to tell you who does. They should also be able to cover the courses that you will need to have completed before you apply. If your program is in a high demand, I would contact the sponsoring school admissions person directly; no mis-communication then.

I too am looking at going to school for dental hygiene, I have looked and spoke with former students to find out the right way to get things done. I am able to take these classes under a cooperative agreement; so I don't have to pay the higher tuition rates of being out of the district.

Good Luck and Good Choice.
Reply:Look at local Technology colleges or Community colleges. They usually have Dental Hygienist programs, and they will have all the courses that you need.
Reply:You have to enroll in the dental hygenist program at your local technical college. It is a course and you will get a degree when you graduate.
