What do you have to major in to become a dental hygenist in college?
Dentistry doesn't fall under Colleges of Medicine. There are separate programs and a different kind of degree. The training, though similar, is definitely different.

This however isn't a dental hygenist! I'm not sure the route into that job.

To become a teacher I believe people usually major in something like education. Teaching at the high school level requires a focus (i.e. science, literature, etc.) and often high school teachers have masters degrees.
Reply:Do as the premed students do, Take science subjects liberal arts the applied sciences, like: physics, chemistry, orangic chem, biology, bio-chem, Microbiology, and then there that math: calculous, becoming a dentist is a type of physician, its fall within the field of Medicine. You want to be a teacher, major in Education/ liberal arts, and be a good one too, we need better teachers. For interior design you can actually go to schools that specializes in just --The Arts-- that is the major for design students, be creative the skys the limits. Best wishes on what every you decide to become in life.
