These people make good money. Most dentists would probably not want them accepting tips anyway. I work with a dentist and he would be very upset if the dental hygienist was accepting money from customers.

Are you kidding? That's not exactly a field that requires tips. THEY MAKE LOTS OF MONEY, they are doctors. No Tip For Them!

Reply:No. They are not considered part of the "service industry" and get paid a sufficient amount of money for their work. We have to draw the line somewhere in tipping.
Reply:I have never heard of "tipping" a medical professional like you tip a manicurist...sure would like to hear from a Dental Hygienist...
Reply:Hell no...they get paid enough. I am a tipper and can be quite generous but the line has to be drawn somewhere.
