I'm thinking about going into the dental field for my career, but i want to know exactly whats out there. i need to know what kinds of dentists there are, and what they do. I know that a dental hygenist just pretty much cleans the teeth and everything, but what about working with like braces and stuff? i really want to look into this. Any help?!

Cosmetic denstistry (involving braces, lumineers, etc.) is a good feild to get into. It takes the least time to get a degree and is pretty high paying. So that's where i would want to go if I were you. There are many types of dentists, including orthodontists. You could be an oral surgen, root canal specialist, pedeatric dentist, etc. You should look into it by soing a few google searches and cheaking out the national institute of health websites, and such.
