How much to dental Hygenist make?

this information is from a career cruising website. so, it's trustworthy.

Dental hygienists usually work in dentists’ offices, though some may work in other settings, such as research laboratories, hospitals, schools, and retirement homes.

Earnings for hygienists can vary a great deal depending on level of education, geographic location, experience, and their responsibilities at work. Hygienists may be paid on an hourly, daily, yearly, or commission basis.

Hygienists usually earn between $17 and $50 an hour depending on their education and experience. Some colleges and universities across Canada offer programs that allow hygienists to perform additional duties—for example, administering local anaesthetics and assisting with orthodontic procedures. Hygienists who have completed this extra training earn between $30 and $50 an hour. Those who have not usually earn $20 to $35 an hour.

Annual earnings for hygienists range from about $20,000 a year for part-time junior hygienists to $80,000 a year for some senior, full-time dental hygienists.

Reply:I have a coworker who has a daughter that just got a job as a dental hygenist. I believe she said that her daughter only has to work 4 days a week at a local dentist office and she would probably be making around $50,000 per year in one to two years. I think her starting salary was "around" $40,000 a year. However, the salary would vary depending on the city in which you live. I understand the job pays well though.
Reply:Check out this website... you can see all kinds of occupations: what they do, how much they make, etc.
