I feel really dumb?

ok all my friends are in acidemic and im in all applied and i feel really dumb cause they get like 90's in acdemic and i get like 70-80 in applied and i feel kinda dumb


ps i want to be a dental hygenist

can you retake it ? if u can do so and study harder , and dont feel dumb 70-80 is not dumb at all
Reply:Stop all other activities and concentrate on ur studies, I m sure u will b at par with them.
Reply:If you have a bit of an artistic side to you then you learn differently from most of the rest of your classmates. Studies are taught by how the mainstream learns and that is from the non artistic side of the brain. It may take you just a little longer to pick up on things but you are by no means dumb. If you were taught by the side of the brain that you learn on then you would be the one with the 90's and your friends would be struggling to learn the same things. In the end you will all be in the same place, intelligent and educated. Hold your head high and know that you will get to the finish line just like they will. My daughter had the same thing going on with her all through school and she is one of the smartest young adults that I know for her age now. She is 20 and loving life.
Reply:.you shouldn't feel dumb .you are who you are and if you get 70's-80's that is you.if you feel dumb or don't feel good about the grades you are getting no one else can fix that or get the grades for you.you are the only person who can get better grades.and if you dont feel good about the grades YOU need to bring those grades up.good luck.

auditory (sound)


kinesthetic (touch and movement)


visual (sight)





I have a quiz that will tell you what you are ... it is very very accurate ... I sell "Discovery Toys", and we use it for finding you, your spouse, and child's learning style.





Also I agree on the dont focus on other activities ... but light to moderate excercise, and water help with the brain, and focusing, and you can always ask for help in the class.





Above all though you are not dumb just because someone else is getting better scores than you. Some people just dont test well also.





Another reason to working on, and with your learning style. ;)
